Over the past quarter century, Irvin Yalom has establish himself as the worlds leading group psychotherapist. In his non fictional book, Staring at the Sun, he explores how the knowledge of ones own morality affects the unconscious mind of every human being.

The decisions we make, the feelings we experience and the fears we have, Yalom suggests, are all in some way connected to our inability to fully confront and comprehend that one day, we will cease to exist.

With the use of found footage, frame by frame animation and sound design, this project strives to convey this idea: what would the human experience be like if one dared to stare at the sun?
